 FAQs

  • Once you complete the 1:1 application, you will be contacted by one of our coaches to schedule an initial consultation. This consultation is free, and you are more than welcome to change your mind.

    Assuming you choose to move forward with training, you will be sent a TrainingPeaks link that will grant you access to the app and add you to your coach’s calendar.

    From that point forward, training will be delivered on a weekly basis and your journey to success and happiness will have begun!

  • When you enroll in our 1:1 coaching experience, you gain access to your own specific coach who creates individualized training for whatever your goals may be. They’re also by your side (virtually) for the entire process. You’ll have continual access to the coach for questions, comments, form checks, etc., and we prioritize coach-athlete communication throughout.

  • The short answer is yes. There is no monthly commitment here, and you can leave whenever you would like.

    We do ask that you give a few weeks’ heads up when you’re planning to leave, as it gives us a bit of time to open up another athlete spot off of our waiting list.

  • We handle this on a case-by-case basis. The beauty of 1:1 training is that the plan is infinitely customizable between you and your coach. If you’re travelling for a few weeks or have a change to your equipment access, we can typically work around it.

    That said, life happens. If you’re truly unable to train for an extended period of time and need to pause payment, let your coach know and we can work towards a solution.

  • At the moment, we like to keep things simple. After your free consultation, you’ll establish a reccuring payment date with your coach. Once the day rolls around each month, we’ll use services such as Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal to bill you.

  • TrainingPeaks is the app that we use to deliver training and handle the bulk of training-related communication bewteen coach and athlete. The TrainingPeaks featureset is, in our opinion, the best in the industry when it comes to the coach:athlete relationship. For more information on the app, visit their website here.

  • Yes. TrainingPeaks offers two options for athletes: Basic and Premium. Pretty much anything you need to work with us is included in the Basic subscription. Should you want access to additional features for whatever reason, you are more than welcome to pay for the Premium subscription.

    NOTE: DON’T PAY FOR ANYTHING TRAININGPEAKS-RELATED WITHOUT CHECKING WITH YOUR COACH FIRST!

  • Generally speaking, this isn’t a dealbreaker. A good coach should be able to work around any kind of equipment limitation that you might have. That being said, we strongly encourage access to the basics: a barbell, some dumbbells and/or kettlebells, bumper plates, a rig or rack, and ideally some sort of non-impact cardio machine.

  • So long as the nature of the injury is within your coach’s scope of practice, we will do our best to help assist in the recovery process. In the past, we have even gone so far as to work alongside your medical provider to help deliver a tailored return-to-baseline training plan.

  • Our speciality is training. That being said, we do have a vast network of human performance professionals that we would be happy to connect you with. In the future we’re hoping to expand our native MOPs & MOEs coaching options, but for now we’d look to connect you with specialists outside of our umbrella when required.
